The role of this post is conduct research into the pathophysiology of type 2 diabetes, with particular focus on the impact of ethnicity on metabolic dysregulation and novel treatments for obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust are looking for an SpR within 6 months of completion of training in Diabetes and Endocrinology, or an already fully trained SpR in Diabetes and Endocrinology, to “act-up” as Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology.

Clinical teaching and research fellowship at Barts and London School of Medicine

The clinical teaching and research fellowship at Barts and the London School of Medicine is now advertised with a closing date for applications of 17th July.

Candidates invited for interview will be notified by email or telephone immediately after shortlisting.

Interviews for shortlisted applicants will be held in London on the morning of 22nd July (with the option of the afternoon of 28th July for anyone unable to make the 22nd) Skype interviews may be arranged during these sessions for candidates who are based outside the UK.
