A great job is coming up at Brighton University Hospitals Trust. This is a replacement post at the Royal Sussex County Hospital - the tertiary centre on the South East Coast. The job is predominantly endocrine with diabetes and general medicine components - the job is flexible dependant on the interests and ability of the successful candidate..

Further information is available via the NHS jobs web site

They are looking for a keen and enthusiastic clinical endocrinologist who will develop and strengthen their general and specialist endocrine service. The job is more endocrine (including thyroid cancer, adrenal MDT, pituitary etc,) than diabetes although there is scope for flexibility depending on experience, interests and abilities. There is contribution to the care of general medical and specialist in-patients, and to the unselected general medical take (6 weekends/year and ~ 1 overnight/month). They candidate will also participate in the teaching programme in endocrinology and diabetes for students at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and to the supervision and training of junior doctors. Research interests would be encouraged.
