New Forum and Recommendations for Diabetes Injection Technique

Promoting best practice in diabetes injection technique

Dublin, Ireland -- 07 February 2013 The Forum for Injection Technique (FIT) announce the launch of FIT in Ireland, and the First Irish Injection Technique Recommendations in diabetes. The Forum, which comprises experienced specialist diabetes nurses, is dedicated to establishing and promoting best practice in injection technique for all involved in diabetes care, and aims to raise awareness of emerging and existing research relating to injection technique and the impact this may have on health outcomes.

Emma Wilmot on BBC: Sitting's not good for you!

Exchange in Endocrinology Expertise

In order to facilitate within Europe the exchange of trainees specialising in adult Endocrinology and to harmonise and improve the training of the new endocrinologists, the Section/Board of Endocrinology of the UEMS and Novo Nordisk A/S and Novartis have set up a fellowship program called ‘3E’, the Exchange in Endocrinology Expertise.
