Young Endocrinologist Prize Lecture

Are you studying for a PhD or are less than 10 years post-PhD – do you want to win a £2,500 personal honorarium? Then don’t forget the deadline for abstracts for the YE Basic Science Prize Lecture is the 15th October.

Abstracts need to be on any subject under the general heading of Endocrinology. This is likely to relate to an area of personal endocrine research, either in progress or recently completed and should represent a series of studies on a theme representing a body of work following your career to date.

The winner will present a 20 minute lecture at the SfE BES meeting in Harrogate on 18-21 March.

There is also the Postgraduate Essay Prize competition – an opportunity to win a £1,000 prize plus runner up prizes of £250. The competition is open to all students registered for a higher degree in the UK or Ireland at the time of essay submission (eg a Masters course or research degree such as MPhil/PhD/MDRes or equivalent.

The deadline for this competition is also 15th October.
