Applications are now open for the popular Postgraduate Diploma / MSc programme in Endocrinology and Diabetes taught by distance-learning at Barts and the London School of Medicine, QMUL. For more information about the course including eligibility and testimonials from previous students, the programme website is www.postgrad.bartsendocrinology.co.uk.

There is an exciting campus-based one year MSc course in Clinical Endocrinology and again please see www.postgrad.bartsendocrinology.co.uk for more information.

It offers:

  • A part-time Distance Learning Programme
  • Novel and Flexible Learning Activities
  • A taught course leading to Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) from the University of London
  • The option to top up to a Masters in Science degree (MSc) from the University of London by completing an independent research project or clinical cases-based dissertation
  • The programme is compatible with the JRCPTB (Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board) syllabus in Endocrinology and Diabetes Mellitus, in particular the aspects covered by the 'knowledge-based examination' although completion of the course does not itself form any part of the specialist accreditation process
  • The only course in the UK to focus specifically on specialist endocrinology in detail (comprising around 3/4 of the course), drawing on the longstanding expertise of Barts and the London School of Medicine in this field. This year there is also an optional module aimed at trainees in clinical chemistry.
