The 3rd National Inpatient Diabetes Conference is to be held at the Royal Society of Medicine on the 29th January 2014. The theme is innovation in inpatient diabetes care.

Diabetes teams are invited to submit a 250 word abstract describing innovations, audit results, tools etc which they have introduced in their hospital to improve inpatient care. The best 6 will be selected for speed presentation (5 minutes- approximately 5 slides) and others for poster presentation

This meeting should prove to be even better than the previous interactive meetings on inpatient care. At this meeting for the first time there are international speakers- Guillermo E. Umpierrez who is the leading inpatient physician advising the ADA and Prof Thomas Pieber who is working on innovative IT systems to improve inpatient glucose control. It looks to be a great meeting and don't forget that if you wish to present any innovations that you and your team have made you are welcome to submit an abstract.

The flyer is here .
