3rd National Inpatient Diabetes Conference

The 3rd National Inpatient Diabetes Conference is to be held at the Royal Society of Medicine on the 29th January 2014. The theme is innovation in inpatient diabetes care. 

Diabetes teams are invited to submit a 250 word abstract describing innovations, audit results, tools etc which they have introduced in their hospital to improve inpatient care. The best 6 will be selected for speed presentation (5 minutes- approximately 5 slides) and others for poster presentation

YDEF-OCDEM Finishing School

The YDEF -OCDEM 'State of the Art' Finishing School for SpRs will be held on 28/29th January at Eynsham Hall near Oxford.  The course will be chaired by professors Rury Holman and Richard Holt and is designed for those coming towards the end of their SpR training and soon to embark on consultant careers.
