The Society for Endocrinology’s Clinical Committee has recently produced three new succinct and clinically useful Emergency Endocrine Guidance Documents; useful for the acute medical and emergency wards:

Acute Hypocalcaemia (for use in adult patients),

Acute Hypercalcaemia, and

Pituitary Apoplexy.

The documents can be found on the Society’s website under:

http://www.endocrinology.org/policy/ where they are listed with a February 2013 date. Hard copies are available on request.
